Liked: The Hotel is beautiful to look at. The Lobby is lovely and the overall look is nice. On our last day, a lovely member of staff checked us out and was so polite and helpful. We were looking for a nice restaurant to have lunch in while we waited for our taxi back to the airport. He found a stunning authentic Italian restaurant for us for lunch, and booked a table for us. Within 30 mins we were at the restaurant enjoying delicious pasta and Tiramisu! The name of the restaurant was Osteria delle Corti.
Disliked: The staff were passive aggressive, and not very smiley, it felt like we were bothering the staff whenever we asked a question at Reception or called '0' from our room. The Hotel does not have an iron and ironing board in each room and so you have to request one via Housekeeping when you want it. On one occasion when I called early in the morning, there were no irons available, I had to wait over an hour for one to become available. Daily cleaning of our room was fine but on closer inspection lacked thoroughness and attention to detail, one occasion there was hair all over the floor because it had not been swept/ mopped, dusting and polishing appeared rushed as we had to wipe some of the surfaces ourselves to remove the dust. Our bathroom shower constantly leaked and we had to place towels on the floor during the day and night to soak up the puddle of water and the constant dripping noise disturbed us during the night. We ordered room service and the order came incorrect, we had to wait another 30 mins for the correct order by which time we had lost our appetite.

Liked: The breakfast was lovely, great location close to CityLife and the metro. The beds were so comfy, I had the best night sleep!
Disliked: The view from my window wasn’t amazing, but not bad.

Amazing hotel

Liked: The Hotel is really amazing, inside & out!Clean and smelling good! The design is fabulous.The swimming pool and terrace is a BIG Plus, very relaxing and comfortable.
Disliked: My cousin and I booked a double room with separate beds , but the staff changed it to a double bed without asking beforehand. We then asked to change it back and honestly the beds were still not separate as the room is quite tiny. The other downside is expensive breakfast and not a good alternative if you just want to have a coffee/juice in the terrace as the bar opened very late (10am) and the QR codes menu were not working, so we had to wait for someone to show up and ask how can we order juices. The staff was really kind, but to meet customer satisfaction it would be best service if the bar in the terrace opened early, as people may not have the time to wait or figure out a way around ordering . Except that, the location and hotel are great!

Disliked: The location is not great, no restaurants or bars nearby, a lot if construction going on outside, the staff were not very friendly I had to ask for more milk for my room as we were given two small sachets of milk for 4 days, when I asked at reception I was simply handed a handful of miniature milk cartons that were 2 months out of date!!!!! The waiter on the reception bar was very rude alsoVery disappointing indeedI will not recommend this hotel as we were there for the Bruce Springsteen concert, I also heard that the breakfast service was shocking

Liked: Enjoyable but a little bit too extensive. We decided to stay with the NHCollection for some main reasons:Firstly the year of construction, secondly the proximity to San Siro, thirdly the 4 stars promise. We accepted a higher price than usual - due to the Bruce Springsteen Show weekend - but in expectation of an extraordinary stay. Rooms and equipments. the room and equipment quality does not correspond to the promise of a new hotel. Beds were making noise, shower was not installed properly, there was a constant water drop. Rooms, although being the so-called superior rooms, just had the minimum size. Service of the room was nice and the rooms were clean. Regarding the Minibar in the room, as well as water supply: inourdays, we expect to have water for free. The pricing of the Minibar was really high. Thanks for the nice coffee, which was appreciated very much. Let's have a look at the hotels facilities. Starting with the elevators. They do not work correctly. Sometimes we had to wait a long time for an elevator, the elevators and floors were too hot / warm. WLAN is very slow. Coming to the highlight, the rooftop and pool. It was an enjoyable time up there. Nice view, fresh air, nice swimming. Therr is some kind of a "reservation" system -  we spend 4 or 5 sessions there and saw many free sunchairs and sunbeds, but the staff did not allow to use it "due to a reservation"It is a big issue that the pool cannot be used after 7 PM, prices for a simple coke or beer are not at all edaquate (beer .33 9 Euros) But all in all, we enjoyed it. The staff at reception and service are very nice, and in general the same on the rooftop.
