We don't know if/when the...

Liked: Beautiful hotel and perfect breakfast.
Disliked: We arrived at 14h and the room wasn't ready. Okay, check-in is at 15h, we left luggage and went out to eat. 15:30h the room still isn't ready and the reception doesn't know when it'll be ready. They're offering us a worse room as an alternative.After some heated discussion the room was ready at 16:30h (btw check-out is at 12h). Everything was payed upfront. For a not so cheap 4 star hotel, we find this behavior unacceptable.

Very dirty and unsafe place...

Disliked: I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. Some guests and even the receptionist behaved inappropriately, which made me feel uncomfortable. The corridors were very dark and unsafe, with an unpleasant smell throughout. Even though we complained about the poor lighting in the corridors, nothing was done to fix it. To make matters worse, the area around the hotel was full of rats. I definitely would not recommend this place.

We had an incredible stay...

Liked: We had an incredible stay at the NH Marseille. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive throughout our visit. We were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful deluxe room, along with a delicious breakfast included in our stay - such a thoughtful touch. We would happily stay here again and again.
