Liked: The room was a good size for 2 people, everything about it was comfortable and quiet. The staff were super friendly and pleasant at all times. I appreciated that they helped with scheduling Taxi's and directions around town
Disliked: I wish the switch to operate the light was inside the bathroom. Not a major problem, but just not used to that configuration

Liked: Friendly staff, comfy bed, nicely decorated communal areas, very clean. Great location for accessing all areas in central Amsterdam.
Disliked: The ceilings were low, I had to crouch to have a shower - I am tall but even my wife couldn't get her head under the shower and she's average height. Having a bath plus shower loses several inches of height - remove the bath and have a walk in shower instead.The wardrobe design was bizarre - there was a small section on the right to hang a few items of clothing but a huge wasted area that wasn't used for anything - this was a poor design choice.It's expensive - I didn't feel it was good value for money unfortunately.

We had a great time...

Liked: Great location. Right in the centre of everything. Just a short walk to most attractions. Can’t comment on breakfast or the restaurant as I didn’t try either of these.
Disliked: Upgraded to room with a balcony and view. The balcony was tiny and the view was disappointing. If I was to return I wouldn’t bother upgrading. We opted for a ‘green stay’ and didn’t have our room serviced throughout the 3 night stay in exchange for 2 free drinks at the bar, the drinks voucher was unknowingly slipped inside the door hanger and we didn’t notice it was there until after it had expired.
