Liked: Comfortable spacious room. Very easy check-in and check-out process. Location was easy to arrive from airport and easy to get around the city. Lots of food options nearby walking distance.

No shuttle showed.

Liked: Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was good. Room was clean when we arrived.
Disliked: We chose this hotel based on the fact that we could get a free taxi from the Amsterdam airport to the Avanl hotel. As advertized. The taxi didn't come. Cost was $66.00US.No room cleaning for our 3 days or drink vouchers offered as advertized.

Liked: Absolutely loved staying here!Apart from the fact that we are talking about Amsterdam….. This hotel was excellent! Good size room, great location for the Museums, galleries etc, but also close to public transportation markets, restaurants, pubs! Great staff too!

Liked: The river view was amazing. We could see swan couple swimming peacefully. The breakfast was delicious. I loved cheese and hummus.

Liked: Located right on the canal and a stones throw from some major museums, the Avanni was an excellent choice of location. The staff went above and beyond recommending restaurants and even providing complimentary macarons one evening we were playing games in the lobby.
