Liked: Really pleased with our stay at Avani hotel, great location, the room was big and the view on the canal simply amazing.We loved the outdoor garden too where you can relax with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee after running around all day. You can get food from the fridge in case you didn’t have time to grab something in the town, nice selection of wine and nibbles.Breakfast was really good, the only thing was missing: famous waffles!Service great too!
Disliked: The carpets on common areas should definitely be cleaned.

Disliked: the hotel is not 'luxury' as advertised. It's quite tired. The bed was so hard and the pillows too soft so there was no support at all. It was also really noisy all through the night (inside and outside) funny odour which was similar to smell of sick in corridors

Liked: Great location close to De Pijp & nice restaurants, and Museumplein. Nice rooms, good variety at breakfast. The hotel were very proactive when I thought I may have been bitten by bed bugs - sent pest control in & confirmed none present.

Overall good stay, but expensive...

Liked: Excellent location within walking distance to De Pijp (restaurant area), Museums and Centrum (tourist area)
Disliked: Canal and street facing rooms are not sound proof and vehicle noise disturb well into the early morning hours
