Basic accom in excellent location!

Liked: The location is excellent! Right in the heart of Newtown, amongst lots of great restaurants, bars, cafes, and cultural hubs. The first night, I stayed in a double room on the ground floor with shared bathroom. The room is small and basic, but is for sleeping so has everything you need. The facilities were clean and simple. The next 3 night we stayed in a double room on the second floor with private bathroom. The room itself was basic, with a very small bathroom. We had a door that opened out looking down into a neighbouring court yard. Was nice to be able to leave a door open to let fresh air in. Lots of public transport options around. Easy to jump on a bus or train to anywhere in Sydney.
Disliked: Ground floor was a little noisy. Try and get a room on at least the second floor.
