MOLD and FILTH
Liked: The guy at the front desk was nice.
Disliked: The curtains didn't even cover the length of the window! We had to use the comforter to block out the light outside and have privacy. The pillows were like pancakes. There was a strong cigarette smell in the room, it was so bad we took a car air freshener and hung it from the ceiling fan (which had the THICKEST layer of dust). No screen on the window, so no fresh air or ventilation. The floors turned our socks and feet black. Hair was all over the shower. MOLD on the walls in the bathroom. Some brown stain on the wash rag. The paint inside the microwave was peeling off. Would absolutely never stay here again. Spend the extra 20-30 bucks and go somewhere else. This place is the worst of the worst.

Disliked: I stayed in your Newport Oregon location and I had a terrible experience. We checked in on May 24th I believe around 5pm, no issues. We went to the front desk and said it doesn’t look like there are enough towels and we asked for an extra towel. We also let the front desk know that the remote seemed to not work for the volume so it may be going dead. Instead of walking over with us to our room or grabbing us a towel, we were in the lobby while the person at the front desk let himself into our room where our other children were. He did not say anything to us about going to our room, or asked if he could go into our room. Once we realized he wasn’t coming back out we went to our room where he said that our kids let him in. This is not true, our kids said that he let him self in and didn’t say anything to them. He then said that there was enough towels and that we wasted his time. We asked him why he has an attitude when we just asked for a simple thing. He again said that we wasted his time. I find this completely unacceptable, dangerous and unprofessional. We ended up leaving our second day of our trip (only staying one night instead of two ) due to feeling completely unsafe. This “manager” seemed unstable and were very anxious that he would let himself into our rooms again just because he believes he has the right. I cannot express how unsafe and anxious my whole family was this whole trip. Our whole trip was ruined and cut short due to your staffs terrible and illegal behavior. He should not me in a place where he can go into peoples room without their permission, he should not be working at a hotel.
