Not a good experience

Liked: The staff was very friendly and efficient
Disliked: Hair on bathroom floor, room didn't look as clean ad it should have been. The beds were very springy. I was alone with my two daughters and we were getting light knocking on the door. There was a lot of loud bangs and doors slamming in a near by room and a woman screaming. My girls were afraid so we left shortly after checking in.

Won’t be returning.

Liked: The roof over my head. The price was nice on the internet….show up is a depreciated, place in need of multiple basic upkeep repairs. The place is dirty, not just dingy.
Disliked: Depressing, place could be a gen if it was cleaned up. The staff is almost non existent. Until the pound on neighboring room and have a yelling match with the client next door.

Absolutely terrible.

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: The room was full of bugs. There was literally fecal matter on the walls outside. I was over charged by this site by about $60. Hotel was unsafe and unsanitary. I’ll be working with my bank to dispute the charge.

Bad

Liked: I didn’t like ANYTHING.
Disliked: The pillows on the bed where very uncomfortable, the bathroom was very dirty there was hair in the shower, dirt on the floor. The curtains to the window were ripped, the room had a bad smell in it. The area where the hotel is located was sketchy , my husband and I didn’t not feel safe. There was two gentleman that knocked on our doors twice at 1am and another time at 4:30am, the two gentleman where cussing at each other. My husband and I did not open the door, we didn’t know if the two gentleman's were drunk or had any weapons on them. My husband and I decided to leave the hotel earlier than expected, we talked to the boss and she said they would refund us but we have not yet received our money back. I HIGHLY do NOT recommend you stay here if you have kids, definitely NOT family friendly.

Despite a few gripes it...

Liked: The property was in the perfect location and walkable to nearby stores and restaurants. It was also nice and quiet so the stay was peaceful. Check-in and check out was easy.
Disliked: A drawer in one of the rooms had no handles, the bottom of what I think is supposed to be a desk was broken and about to fall out. And the only trash can was the one in the bathroom.

Uncomfortable

Liked: I like that our car was right outside of our room.
Disliked: I didn’t like the room it was dirty and outdated and the people above us were having sex and it was very disturbing

Liked: The staff was super friendly. We got there late and checking in was super quick!

Exceptional

Liked: Becca the manager was very friendly and personable she made me feel right at home. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. It was quiet and I got a great night's sleep.. I will definitely go there again when I need a room in newport.
