We made it work!!
Liked: We liked the location! Went for my sisters interment in Kelligrews . There was a young man who helped us a couple times, unfortunately we didnt get his name. But he was helpful with our TV & internet problems. He also switched out our hard/lumpy pillows for softer/comfortable pillows.
Disliked: When we checked in, our door wouldnt open, returned to front desk, young man came down, he couldnt open it, got the manager who gave the door a hard kick for it to open. Needless to say, my husband & I never succeeded in using that door. The front desk is not serviced during the evening/night hours. On the website it stated breakfast included. No such thing! No tissues in bathroom. The sink & mirror in the bathroom was built for anyone over 6 feet, even brushing my teeth was a chore, Im 5 feet. Very few amenities! Ive stayed in many hotels. This one definitely overpriced!

Very good
Liked: Close to St John's.
Disliked: My wife and I recently traveled from Ontario to Newfoundland in an electric vehicle, staying at economy motels such as yours, along the way. We were rather disappointed that no economy motels provided overnight EV charging. I would highly recommend that economy motel owners consider installing Level 2 240 volt EV chargers of approximately 30-40 amp capacity connected to a network such as FLO or Chargepoint. The network would collect the cost through their network RFID card or app to compensate the motel owner. A reasonable charge of about $1.50/hr. would be much more attractive to me, then staying at a luxury motel and paying $50 to $100 more per night and receiving “free” charging for approximately $10 worth of EV charging.
