The property is set opposite Newcastle Beach and is 164 ft from Newcastle Beach Tram stop. Catch the tram from the Greyhound bus stop at the Newcastle Interchange to Newcastle Beach. This hostel features a terrace with BBQ facilities a large shared kitchen and a games room with table tennis and a billiards table. Guests have free use of surfboards and bodyboards. Love the place and ambience,...

Liked: Stay was excellent, it would be more better if staff explain you direction of room, direct you for shared toilets, laundry kitchen, she did tell after I asked which way I can go, reception girl was nice but more good if these questions explained before asked.Also she didn't tell me about parking where to park or not, she could have said that YHA has no parking beforehand
Disliked: I liked everything about my stay, can't be more better.

Newcastle beach April 2025 stay......

Liked: I was really impressed with the accommodation facilities I stayed at last weekend, affordable, very clean neat and tidy premises, friendly staff and conditions if utilities in perfect order.

Disliked: Certainly wasn’t as clean in the kitchen as usual. Pleased to see some cleaning staff to help. Fridge and food storage space a problem.
