The property is set opposite Newcastle Beach and is 164 ft from Newcastle Beach Tram stop. Catch the tram from the Greyhound bus stop at the Newcastle Interchange to Newcastle Beach. This hostel features a terrace with BBQ facilities a large shared kitchen and a games room with table tennis and a billiards table. Guests have free use of surfboards and bodyboards. The hostel also offers a tour desk and laundry facilities. Both dormitory rooms and private rooms are available. All offer access to shared bathroom facilities. Superb

Liked: great location for surfers and seafront lovers. Quirky place with great staff. Not a modern building but they did well with it.

Liked: In between living arrangements. Had a good look around area for that perfect unit. Always meeting people, if you choose or stick to yourself doing your own thing. Get to know people and discuss your day. If you want to talk or not. Staying private if wanting so
Disliked: Time to leave soon. Can still pop in and say hello

Liked: Honest conversation with owner. Myself being true to my word. Not knowing me from a bar of soap
Disliked: I love it. Meeting interesting people daily from all walks of life. Great place to hang out in bad weather. Not confined to your bedroom only
