Rooms were clean and very quiet. Lots of eating places. The American Burger was really good with great staff.

Liked: Location to the Dolby.
Disliked: The smoking!

Great place to stay on Strip; close to stores; walking distance to Planet Hollywood.

Liked: Comfortable room; great service at front desk; concierge was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Disliked: Safe didn't work in room.

Disappointing

Liked: Staff were super helpful, hotel is in a great location and Vegas is a crazy city, we weren't there long and it was perfect for what we needed
Disliked: it is just a bit old and felt a little tired, I couldn't find much healthy food, but may not have looked hard enough. The roller coaster is quite a constant noise in our room - but fun..

Nice for a one-night stay

Liked: We enjoyed our stay at New York, New York. I appreciated that our room was ready for early check-in. The room was nice, spacious, and clean. It was clearly updated recently, which was a plus. The New York themed attractions in the common space were nice as well.
Disliked: Just know that as is commonplace with Vegas hotels/casinos, you will notice a strong smoking smell in the casino area--I found it was particularly noticeable here compared to other hotels/casinos in Vegas.

Liked: The hotel had a nice selection of restaurants, casino was nice and everyone was friendly. The room was nice and clean. Felt safe which was a concern as I was traveling with my daughters.
Disliked: The elevators were overcrowded and took forever to get up and down. Our room was the last one on the floor and took a while to.get to. Seems like there should have been another set of elevators for our side of the building.

Exceptional

Liked: New York New York is so fun, so many restaurants and the Hershey Bar love it.

This was the worst hotel...

Liked: Restaurant options. Location on the strip.
Disliked: Room smelled like smoke. Toilet wouldn’t stop flushing. Security guards treated me like a criminal. Standard room was missing basic amenities usually found in hotel rooms. When booking the room it was supposed to be around 200 a night and the room rate turned out to be 500 on some nights. And with all the added on fees it was a very deceiving rate. The casino stunk worse than the one in park mgm across the street.
