The Hilton Midtown obviously doesn't need to work very hard to please it's guests. We were told at check in they have a 98% occupancy rate, largely due to convention and business travel. Too bad for those of us not on a company expense account.
Liked: Location is fabulous.
Disliked: This was our second stay in four years. There won't be a third. You expect a large hotel in the heart of midtown to be busy. And it is. What you should expect from a Hilton is service and convenience. This was not our experience. We didn't get our room cleaned on the first day because we were still in the room at 10 when housekeeping called. Amenities in our room did not include a mini bar, coffee maker or free wifi. Our room was accessible, which we did not request or require. This meant our bathroom was spacious with no counter space. Minor inconveniences that add up when you consider the room rate (high).

Liked: Good location and super nice staff at Herb N`Kitchen breakfast.
Disliked: The only hotel I`ve ever been that charges you for the luggage storage. Ridiculous.

Liked: Great location
Disliked: Unfriendly staff. Extra charges that were not aforementioned upon arrival. Mandatory $30 to use at their bar and restaurant not aforementioned. No adapters. No USB ports. No turn down facilities. Rooms need to be revamped.

Liked: Location was good for that area.
Disliked: Small room, called the customer service line and it kept ringing. The staff brought towels to my room instead of the sheets that I asked for, extremely expensive (even for the area), but no included wifi.

Liked: Location was excellent. Within walking distance of many typical tourist sites. Breakfast and beds were great. Parking in their facility was perfect. Staff helpful and friendly.

Liked: Housekeeping staff customer service is one of the best I?ve experienced. Very friendly and happy.
Disliked: Room was too cold and when I turned air off, air was stagnant. Just left window open.
