It was wonderful!
Liked: The room had a view of the channel and the street overlooking a the quiet park. We had the best time relaxing and enjoying the views when we came back from our time exploring the city each day.
Disliked: Nothing!

Good
Liked: Great location central to town and within easy walking distance to everything you need in Brighton. Staff were really welcoming and friendly. Nice and quiet location and minimal noise from other guests.
Disliked: Room was quite small and bathroom was tiny. Though parking was available on the square it was very expensive, the cheaper parking was a walk away which is normally fine but not so in torrential rain!

A little gem in the...
Liked: Everything. Lovely stay and would recommend. Wish we had been staying longer. Staff friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: I have knee pain and hadn’t anticipated 4 flights of stairs to our room. Once there all great, just worth checking what floor you’re on.

A split experience: one room...
Liked: The staff were friendly. The double room (as pictured in the listing) was nicely decorated, clean and relatively comfortable.
Disliked: The single bedroom was not comfortable. It was sold as a single with a shared bathroom but I was not expecting to have to hunt around and go down two flights of steps to the nearest toilet. The room was stuffy with a lingering smell of stale urine around the in-room shower and opening the window to clear this meant sleeping with your head out over the noisy square. The single bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows awful - thin and hard. I've slept in more comfortable beds on a sleeper train.

Liked: Well situated and feel I paid a decent price for Brighton. Sparkling clean on arrival, and enjoyed the velux window with views over the city. The lady who checked us in was lovely - the room was ready 1:30pm which was appreciated to enjoy more of lovely Brighton.
Disliked: Parking anywhere near the hotel is very difficult without paying an extortionate amount - I was lucky to find one on the street of the hotel at 2nd attempt, but paid £35 on the Pay by Phone app for a 2 night stay. The hotel do offer a cheaper parking version, but it’s further away and means you could end up parked on a busy main road.
