Historic architecture and modern bedrooms;...

Liked: Lovely historic main building with lots of history and beautiful architecture and paintings ; worth a visit, just for that. Modern hotel accommodation with lovely pool, spa and gym. Ideal for an overnight prior to a Portsmouth sailing and close enough to Fareham for dinner. Nice choice of breakfast options. Will stay there again.

Room was good, restaurant was...

Liked: The room was lovely, the bed comfortable.
Disliked: Service in the restaurant was poor, very slow. Staff seemed to be numerous but didn't know what the others were doing. We were there for nearly two hours and only had one course.
