New Orleans Marriott

It is within walking distance from where we wanted to go. So we had parking and a room. It was clean and safe.

Liked: Good customer service.
Disliked: The room needs an update - vent in the bathroom and the mattress was hard.

I will never again stay at the Marriot just due to the fact valet parking is a forced $40.00 per day charge. We could have stayed on Bourbon Street for the amount of money we paid to stay at the Marriott on Canal Street. A two night stay was $800, we could have paid a bit more and stayed at an exclusive balcony condo on Bourbon Street.

Liked: The location was right around the corner to the House of Blues. The rooms were very small but clean.
Disliked: Valet parking was a hidden $40.00 per day cost.

Liked: The hotel was beautiful. Felt secured as you could not enter the floors without your keycard. Perfect location.
Disliked: The excessive fees! Parking was also expensive!

Liked: The location was great, centralized. Beautiful view. Room service was quick. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean.
Disliked: Using your room card to access the elevators, they didn't work half the time and it was the only way to enter the elevators.
