Nice hotel but it is...

Liked: Very nice view from balconies . Nice Parisian ambiance.
Disliked: There is nothing in the bathroom . Only soap. Very responsive and nice staff, especially Alex, he helped us a lot with everything .

Great hotel, location, and staff!

Liked: The rooms are clean and well furnished, and the bed is very comfortable. Lovely little balcony, and a modest shower room that fits a room of this size. Staff were friendly and helpful, and happy to make suggestions for dinner, etc. The area is a bit quieter than the very touristy spots, but still plenty of eateries, places to pick up groceries (a supermarket across the road), etc. Nearby, Parc Monceau is gorgeous and Musee Jacqumart-Andre well worth a visit.
Disliked: The shower takes a little getting used to. It is intended to be hand-held, I think. I managed to balance it in a way that pointed to suit, and it was fine. Good pressue, temperature, etc. It might bother some, but to me it's just a little quirk of a charming hotel.

Liked: the beds were comfortable, it was clean
Disliked: the elevator does not go to the floor where the room is located- it is mid floor between 2 floors so you need to go up or down, but the main problem was the narrow winding staircase that makes it very challenging (for older people especially). The room (17) has a bathtub with no handrails

Charming French Hotel

Liked: We loved this beautiful traditional French Hotel. Set on a quiet street of grand buildings we loved the atmosphere. Yes the stairs are narrow and quirky and the lift is tiny but in a way that adds to the charm. We had a balcony room which was a definite bonus and we wouldn't have been without the aircon in the heat touching 40°. The best thing about this hotel are it's staff who are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Thank you to you all.

Nice hotel with cool little...

Liked: The balcony but it rained a lot so we didn’t really get to enjoy it. The bathroom was new, had a bath and was great. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet. Air conditioning was lovely.
Disliked: The lift stops between floors and the transition steps are shallow and dangerous. The towels badly need to be replaced. They are threadbare. The bathroom hairdryer is the fitted on the wall type that I’ve not seen for 15 years, so outdated, weak and useless for anyone with decent hair.
