A very special place in...

Liked: Room was spacious, bed comfortable, no noise except the river outside. Impressive building and setting and history. If you like stairs, get your room on level 6! The lift is adequate but it has its own pace and mind and sounds. Dinner and Breakfast in a superb space. Staff spot-on.
Disliked: The sun that day. Old Mills clearly liked to face it. We Scots have never grasped the wonders of air con on such a rare day and are too tight to pay for it. Dare say I cannot complain as we need the Vit D!

Fantastic place but not very...

Liked: It’s a fantastic place with a lot of history. The staff were nice.
Disliked: Not very cosy. A few small things like, I got my wine in a broken glass, the Prosecco was served in bottles that we had to open ourselves, the breakfast wasn’t refilled, the atmosphere was pretty dull.
