Beautiful restored building on UNESCO...

Liked: Room had fabulous view over River Clyde. Dinner was tasty and well-prepared. Staff are consistently cordial and helpful. Lovely restored mill building.
Disliked: No concerns. Would happily stay here longer.

Exceptional

Liked: This is a very special place with fascinating history and beautiful nature. The river view from the room was amazing as was the soundnof the river. The hotel has everything there is to need and is comfortable and relaxed.

Liked: Lovely welcome, lady was happy to explain location of everything and to talk about the area. Comfortable, spacious room with large, smart bathroom and views, comfortable bed. Had a good walk around the impressive Lanark Mill site, then a lovely evening meal in the restaurant-the Thai green curry one of the best I've had, and great service. Excellent breakfast, also with great service. Although most of the restaurant staff seemed quite young, they had obviously been well-trained in customer service as the experience was excellent.

Liked: Overall hotel was lovely and lots to see and do on site
Disliked: The communal changing at the swimming pool was uncomfortable as too few changing areas and was too busy

Absolutely great night meeting up...

Liked: Overall, an excellent overnight stay, with great food at dinner and breakfast. Staff were all extremely helpful and friendly.
Disliked: Only slight criticism is the lack of atmosphere in the bar / public areas.
