Liked: Size of the room and the bathroom showers Breakfast was very good Staff were helpful and friendly Overall very clean and all spacious in room
Disliked: A few minor details in the room such as the loose shower tap and wonky toilet roll holder Request for specialist milk was given an alternative which I could not have ! Windows needed to be able to be more open especially in the heat Unfortunately internet was down so no tv or internet

Lovely stay at Hollgate

Liked: Lovely hotel with comfortable, cosy rooms. Very welcoming staff and extremely welcoming to dogs! We didn't eat there but the breakfast area looked lovely.

Not great.

Liked: Good location.
Disliked: The fact that the front door was not shutting properly and therefore everyone who came back late at night slammed it 3/4 times. It was located directly next to our room and as a result we were kept awake until early hours of the morning. In addition the internet was not working and it appeared that the temporary solution had best signal outside of our room. We were woken twice by guest who were using this and either making calls or watching things.

Lovely hotel will definitely return

Disliked: Room was very hot . Portable fan heater supplied but didn’t make much difference

Good weekend stay to see...

Liked: Staff were great and very helpful/ friendly. Breakfast was lovely, although a little expensive.
Disliked: Room (3) was nice, clean and comfortable, but quite small.
