Excellent, friendly and good food

Liked: Excellent staff who kindly escorted me to the room and offered to help with bags, Thomas showed me an exit I could easily use to go out to a lovely patio area, the room and some nice little touches and was really clean. I had the full English breakfast and it was amazing and didn’t need lunch that day.
Disliked: There wasn’t anything I didn’t like food did take I little while in the evening but it was so fresh and tasty I would rather wait than have micro meals, It looked like there was a beauty room and may have booked in if there was an option on the website.

Family inn! Hidden gem!

Liked: Excellent value for money. Gluten free beer and food options. Massive breakfast. Kind host.

Brilliant little place to stay.

Liked: Thomas was very friendly and helpful. The room was great. A nice size for a single and very modern. Prawn cocktail was huge and the hanging chinese chicken for dinner was very tasty. Breakfast was very good with a massive cumberland sausage. Will definitely stay again.

Very comfortable peaceful stay in...

Liked: Lovely pub in a picturesque village with interesting 12-century church. Had a really comfortable and peaceful stay. Nice wider than usual single bed, and a spacious powerful shower. Delicious scampi for dinner. And great to have the later check-out time and optional breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing.

Cozy and good nights sleep,...

Liked: The room was the perfect size for a solo traveler, convinced of the restaurant downstairs if you’re hungry. Room was well set out and cozy
Disliked: A bit noisy as my room over looked the bar garden but the sun was out and people were enjoying themselves but unfortunately they stayed there until after midnight but overall lovely place to stay
