New County Hotel by RoomsBooked

I was surprised at how pleasant the interior was given the scaffolding outside. The historical bicycles etcetera were intriguing as was the lovely van in the quadrangle. I had no idea what to expect from the hotel and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I would stay there again.

Liked: The room was in a quiet spot; clean and the reception staff very helpful.
Disliked: No. All good.

Breakfast left a lot to be desired.

Liked: Replacement room was much better. Receptionist very helpful and polite.
Disliked: First room was very claustrophobic and unsafe as there was window access to flat roof.

Liked: The location is excellent and close to everything the staff where efficient and the room was clean and spacious with good amenities

Liked: Quiet at night as the apartment beds were away from the street side so noise was no issue :)

Enjoyable stay at a lovely...

Liked: Room was much larger than expected and had everything you needed i.e coffee/tea facilities and lovely biscuits on arrival. Location was in the centre of Gloucester and whilst didn't have their own car park, two were directly behind the hotel. Car parking cost £8 from 7 am to 6 pm and with the MI permit app you could pay for following days without having to get up early. Would definitely stay there again

George made our stay welcoming

Liked: George greeted us with a fabulous smile, very hospitable, informative and kind. Our upgraded room was a special treat that just made our trip that extra special, thank you George.
Disliked: The cleaning lady unlocking our door and shouting in our room when we paid for the extended check out.
