Great find !

Liked: Accommodating and very helpful. Warm and quiet room. Slept in until 10.30 unlike most places, who want you out by dawn. Extremely clean. The family member checking us in knows the area and gave us quick directions and ideas. Good water pressure, nice towels, nothing missing from toiletries to a little makeup towel. Wife agrees we will definitly be back.

Liked: The property was very clean, comfortable, and situated in a good place, the staff were fantastic and polite, the breakfast was beautiful all in all extremely happy with our weekend stay.
Disliked: If I had to pick one thing the dining room was just a little to cold, it is the end of November though!

Liked: A welcoming place with friendly hosts. Arrived early to a warm room, Dora & Ollie couldn't have been more helpful. This place is clean, looked after and you can see how many changes have been made since this family took over. I've been coming for years, and every time something new has been done to improve the New Bond. Tony has shown me the back of the lounge, which they have closed off to guests. They are having problems with the floor thanks to another cowboy builder. It looks like people should educate themselves about this place, rather than being snotty in reviews. Since the breakfast room and the lounge are 1 room only, they have decided to close to have it fixed during quiet season.Dora showed me the new rooms. They are tastefully decorated and the colour is just right. I've stayed in room 6, double room on the second floor, upgraded from the single room. Comfortable, bright, peaceful and clean. Just what I needed on my way home. On the train now writing this review.Thank you again, team New Bond. Looking forward to March x
Disliked: Nothing. There is nothing not to like here. The hosts, b&b and the area are just right for me. Short walk from the train station and I'm in my second home.

Passable

Disliked: The parking advertised was a public car park a 10 minute walk away which we weren’t very happy about. The hotel blurb advertised breakfast but we didn’t see a soul between booking in and booking out.

Liked: - How quiet and peaceful it always is at this BnB- how welcome I always feel- clean - warm room - dedicated hosts who go out of their way without being overbearing like some properties I stayed in before- the best filter coffee everBest of luck on your new venture, you'll smash it no doubts. Bond shaken not stirred

Liked: Hotel was clean comfortable host was welcoming and friendly
Disliked: The bathroom was a little compact not enough room between the toilet and sink to sit comfortably

Liked: Room was nice apart from the ceiling needed a paint and bathroom upgrade.
Disliked: Tv fell of the wall within the first 20 mins being in the room.I had no sleep due to the room being freezing cold.Staff did not resolve my issue leading to me going home early and ruining my birthday weekend. The young girl had no management skills and was very disrespectful, she told me the heating was on a timer following with they can't afford to put the heating on. She then told me she will get this resolved next time I stay, I said I will never stay again which lead to abuse from the young girl.The hotel canceled my booking and claimed I didn't stay there so they didn't have to give me a refund and I couldn't leave a review, booking.Com changed this! I will never stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone.The dining area is another roon the TV it hanging of the wall with half the dining area filled with junk and not clean. I had to wait 20mins to check with no apology. This place should be shut down. We don't spend are hard earned money to spend a weekend away being freezing cold room and having no tv after you charging £120 I'm very disappointed, this should not be allowed to happen.
