Only recommend if you need...

Liked: close to ferry
Disliked: Neighborhood is extremely run down. People begging for money outside of hotel. Does not appear safe to walk around.Feels like ghost town - everything was closed

Disliked: Didn't like that the rate doubled from Wednesday to Thursday. I was unpleasantly surprised. I expect the weekend rate to start on Friday.

Disliked: Everything outdated and old. Missing electrical wallplates ,Sheets that had holes and blood stains on side of fitted sheets.Rugs from 1970s with huge stains everywhere. Front desk girl was going to take money off bill but couldnt since it was through bookings.comThats ridiculousThis property is seedy and needs massive redo. Could have gone a few miles away to a Hilton and i made a big mistake. $400.00 PER NIGHTIS TERRIBLE. SHOULD BE DUE SOME FORM OF REFUND. AREA SURROUNDING HOTEL IS HOMELESS LAYING IN DOORWAYS EVERYWHERE.EVEN NEXT TO FRONT ENTRANCE TO HOTEL. TRAVEL MONTHLY AND IM SORRY TO SAY THIS WAS JUST BEYOND WORDS.

Overall, this is always a...

Liked: Location was great. The staff were friendly. The lobby area is spacious and inviting, with comfortable couches and chairs near to but set aside from the breakfast (in the morning) and bar (in the evening) tables.
Disliked: The room was too dark for reading so I had to rearrange the lamps. A reading lamp beside the bed would help. The breakfast was of a grab-and go style. I guess a lot of places are doing that now, but I miss the days when this hotel had hot meal options.

Overall, our stay was great...

Liked: Location was excellent for us. Staff and overall comfort was great.
Disliked: Breakfast left a little to be desired. Not everything was available at any given time eventhough it was within the alloted hours. The pre made sandwiches were not good.

frustrating

Liked: location was good,
Disliked: the service was poor, breakfast was usually : out of most things to eat,every day !!,we had a difficult time to get clean towels, lights went out in the room 1 night, no one would answer the phone at the front desk
