Disliked: Didn't like that the rate doubled from Wednesday to Thursday. I was unpleasantly surprised. I expect the weekend rate to start on Friday.

Liked: Location was great. The staff were friendly. The lobby area is spacious and inviting, with comfortable couches and chairs near to but set aside from the breakfast (in the morning) and bar (in the evening) tables.
Disliked: The room was too dark for reading so I had to rearrange the lamps. A reading lamp beside the bed would help. The breakfast was of a grab-and go style. I guess a lot of places are doing that now, but I miss the days when this hotel had hot meal options.

Comfortable, convenient New Bedford stay

Liked: Super-friendly and helpful staff, clean, comfortable, perfect central location walking distance from ferry to islands -- just right for a visit to New Bedford.

Overall, our stay was great...

Liked: Location was excellent for us. Staff and overall comfort was great.
Disliked: Breakfast left a little to be desired. Not everything was available at any given time eventhough it was within the alloted hours. The pre made sandwiches were not good.

Disliked: the service was poor, breakfast was usually : out of most things to eat,every day !!,we had a difficult time to get clean towels, lights went out in the room 1 night, no one would answer the phone at the front desk

Disliked: Sea view was a slice of sea with lots of buildings all around and not worth paying extra. Staff was short and not always around. Room was tight.
