Liked: Location was perfect for our trip, meals excellent, hotel certainly had character.
Disliked: Apart from the hotel being in a poor state due to age etc, not a lot.

Liked: I was catching an early morning train on the Heart of Wales Line to go walking, when I mentioned I'd be leaving before breakfast they offered a packed breakfast/lunch which was excellent.

Liked: Great location if you are staying in Llanwrtyd

Liked: The staff were lovely , plenty of drinks to choose from. They were very accomadating with the parking.
Disliked: The room was dated, a little tlc needed example ripped lino in bathroom, a little dampness, bed uncomfortable.

Liked: Clean comfy bed. Good breakfast
Disliked: Generally needs an upgrade. Lots of flies in public bar and restaurant

Liked: This hotel oozes character and charm. They serve great food and pints. And a great breakfast in the morning to set you up for the day. Excellent staff.
Disliked: Nothing

Charming old hotel with some...

Liked: Very welcoming. Clean and a great location for the man v Horse race.
Disliked: This building is 160 years old and very charming but don't expect modern facilities. Decor is very dated. Our rubber shower attachment on the bath took me back to my childhood in the 70s!Hot water was limited first thing in the morning and early evening. The hot tap was actually dry when we returned from running the man v Horse race and needed to get clean.I suspect when the hotel isn't fully occupied this might not be a problem.The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable but others staying said theirs were fine so maybe luck of the drawer I
