Disliked: Overall appearance very run down, corridors in very poor condition, carpets worn

Liked: Breakfast had great variety and was very tasty..The location was superb and the staff who were very pleasant went out of their way to be helpful to us and kind to our dog
Disliked: Only the weather!

Friendly staff and delicious food...

Liked: Hotel is on a grand scale and takes you back to earlier times. Dinner was very good indeed and staff friendly taking time to chat.
Disliked: While the old building was lovely it could do with a little smarting up.

Disliked: Rooms, windows, common rooms, restaurant and the building in general is run down and somewhat dirty.

Gorgeous place but needs a...

Liked: The location was lovely. Beautiful views from the hotel. Our room had a great view over the gardens and was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: The hotel needs a little bit of modernisation. Breakfast menu could be improved.

OK for our overnight stay.

Disliked: Some parts of the hotel could do with some tlc.

Disliked: Bed too small standard double too small these days. Bad night sleep window would not open enough.
