Disliked: Shower was cold even after the manager had a look. A lot of the hotel is tatty and in need of refurbishment

Liked: The hotel upon arrival looked tired and in need of some refurbishment. The entrance was very tired and in need of repair. The main reception area was okay. The main staircase was old and creaked like an old haunted hose and was in desperate need of refurbishment and decoration. The hallways on each level were very dated and required modernisation. The room was reasonable and modern bathroom. The windows could do with being replaced along with the door of the room was past its best. The bathroom had no lock on the door although not a problem really.
Disliked: Restaurant food was pretty decent and the service was good. The breakfast was good and plenty to choose from.

Liked: Nice location in the country side but still close enough to amenities We had dinner at the hotel the night we stayed - fish and chips was great! Breakfast was sufficient the following morning
Disliked: Small mixup with the booking from what we thought we had booked on booking.com to what the hotel had, while it was all sorted out in the end (Thankyou!) it could have been handled better and not made to feel like it was all my fault.

Probably a lovely hotel in...

Disliked: The Hotel was extremely tired looking. However the big issue for me was the creaky floor of the room above. Unfortunately the occupants were walking around during the night and kept waking me up. The reception didnt seem massively interested in my feedback in the morning.
