Good, but should be better

Liked: The staff are very friendly, helpful, and always happy to assist you on the best way to enjoy the city.Spacious, comfortable, and clean rooms.Lovely area and great location for walking.Despite the negatives, I would come back again but make better choices.
Disliked: - Service in restaurant/bar is generally unsatisfactory. It depends on the staff available during your visit. Which is unacceptable for a hotel of this rating.- In-room dining service is horrible. Overpriced, very limited items after 9-10 PM. Cold sandwiches that should definitely not cost over 5 pounds. Top that with a "tray charge" that makes zero sense.- Breakfast is boring, repetitive, and very limited. Not to mention the inconsistency in service and meal preparation. Definitely not worth it when there are plenty of options near by.- Eager to try their restaurant Torrish? Don't! The place lacks any atmosphere and the food quality is average. Not worth the high price.

Liked: location was ideal for walking along the River Ness and into the center of the city of Inverness. Great restaurant on site.

Liked: It's a very nice hotel. you could feel the friendliness of the staff the moment you walked in the door. The front desk staff was helpful with our requests. the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options. A very good experience of staying in the Ness Walk and the city.
