Nautical Motel

I would recommend people to go there. And we would go back too. It’s located right across the street from Wally's Pub.

Liked: The room was big and had a full size refrigerator and plenty of room for 2 people.
Disliked: The mattress was uncomfortable. You could feel the springs through the mattress.

Disliked: Bed could use a mattress topper for comfort and extra pillows would have been nice.

If you are not there...

Liked: They tried. It looked like they tried to renovate it…but watched a 30 minute HGTV show and decided they could do it themselves.
Disliked: The floors/roof of the porches were sagging. The window unit AC was not properly installed. The TV did not have a remote or work. The shower nozzle had a big hole in the drywall around it. The walls were paper thin, we could hear EVERYTHING!!! Our room connected with another’s and the space between the connecting door and the floor had about 1/4 inch space. My dislike also went beyond the motel and toward the town. It was honestly like a frat beach town/party, but with people of all ages. This place is NOT FOR A FAMILY! We have teenagers, but especially not for younger children! We had a man try to get into our room around midnight. We ended up leaving at 3am (and there were people in the motel still partying).

Disliked: Very expensive for the quality and cleanliness.pretty rundown. The floors were pretty dirty and sandy. Had to wear my socks while inside. My husband didn’t wear his socks and his feet were filthy

Disliked: For the amount you pay it’s not worth if. Drawers nailed shut, not enough outlets, filthy windows, nothing really inviting to make me stay another night

The ocean view was beautiful...

Liked: The staff were so great. They upgraded us to a nicer room and made our stay seem less.
Disliked: The apartment was clean but not aesthetically pleasing. It could use a new coat of paint and some new furniture.
