Good hotel offers good value...
Liked: Very good location as in near the busy centre of Montmartre, that said it’s quite a run down area that may appear quite threatening- but it isn’t. It’s a clean property with good staff and I’d stay there again.
Disliked: A lot of stairs. Breakfast isn’t replenished so get there before 9.30/10.00

It was OK for a...
Liked: The lobby and the room were very clean. Easy to find.
Disliked: The bathroom sink was ridiculously small and the room curtains didn’t close all the way through, which was a problem since they are directly next to the shower and so anyone could see me taking a shower.

Customer service was terrible, hotel...
Disliked: I stayed here for only a couple of hours (3 to be exact) because I was feeling sick and had to catch a train in the afternoon (and had to check out from my Airbnb in the morning). The manager of the hotel was absolutely not accommodating - I had called for an early check in because of the situation I was in and on the phone this all seemed fine. When I got there he didn’t know anything about it and said I could check in at 2, even though I mentioned that I was ill and had to check out at 3.For these couple of hours I paid the full price for a night and when I asked for some breakfast when I arrived (it was 11 and the breakfast was until 10.30) - he told me breakfast was over, but after a while decided to give me some croissants. Mind you, I was sick, that’s the whole reason I was there for and so I explained to him that I couldn’t go out to get some food. After a while a homeless man came in the lobby and started to speak French to me. I told him I didn’t understand, but he kept on making direct contact with me and I felt very intimidated. I was sitting down, having the croissant while this happened but stood up to protect my luggage as I didn’t trust the situation. The homeless man kept on repeating the same question to me in English (‘do you want to do?’) and I felt scared. I’m a young woman and was there all by myself. When the man didn’t stop I shouted ‘can someone please help me?’ as the manager didn’t do anything and there were also other male guests checking out. Nobody did anything. I decided to hide from the man and he then sat down and began to eat the ‘breakfast’ I got from the hotel. Finally the manager said I could check in and I went to my room as quick as possible. I specifically asked him: why aren’t you sending him away? I feel unsafe. And he mentioned that he would do so. The staff didn’t help me get my suitcase to the room on the 4th floor (by stairs) even though I mentioned that I was there because I was ill. The story continues, nospaceleft

Good
Disliked: Please don’t roll wet towels when cleaning the room. Either give fresh towels, or let the towels dry
