Frustrating, had to wait for...

Liked: The morning staff was helpful and listened well. Bed was pretty comfortable. Rooms were clean.
Disliked: When I arrived at 7pm (4 hours after the earliest check in) i was told that our room would be a 30 minute wait due to the hotel being fully booked the night before. I understood. They said they would call me when it was ready and I never received a call after 45 minutes so I went in and we got our room right away. Once in the room, I go to use the restroom then on the light and the mirror light was blinking. It was very bright as if someone was flashing their phone flashlight in the dark right in front of your face. I was going through a sinus infection so a blinking light was not comfortable for me. I send my partner to the front desk as he was already down stairs to tell them about the issue immediately after I saw the mirror. My partner said that the guy he talked to seemed pretty stand off-ish with him and just gave him the option of “we can get maintenance in the morning.” He replied with “That doesn’t help the issue now we will be gone tomorrow.” He proceeds to come and get me so we both go back down and talk with the manager or supervisor of that shift. He was polite when I came down and I spoke with him. I explained how I’m batting the sinus infection and told him it is ridiculous how me and him both would have to take a shower using our phone flashlights as I am sick and we both have sensitive eyes. The guy said the best they can do is see if they have a room available by 11pm and that he would call your room ” at 11 and most likely before then.” At 11:01 we had not received a call so we go back downstairs just to see if we will receive a new room. As we walk in the lobby, he sits up in the chair and proceeds to say “I was just about to call you guys in about 15 more minutes.” We were under the impression that he was serious about fixing the issue at first but his demeanor when we walked down after 11pm told us otherwise. Though, we let it go and he gave us another room. Everything was fine in the second room.

Second visit, but not a...

Liked: Clean. Price. That's it!
Disliked: No amenities! None! We had a reservation for three people and got only two towels. No extra TP in the bathroom. We had to ask for more towels & TP. Asked for more pillows, they were too soft, but was told none were available. No dirty clothes bags. Keurig available but no coffee cups, not even when we asked. No vending machines. No snacks or drinks, nothing. You get the room but nothing more! The front desk clerk greeted us in fuzzy slippers. Main door unlocked late at night and no front desk staff in lobby. The room key was not needed to go upstairs. Very unsafe!

Liked: Location was good. Staff was good and k owledgable.
Disliked: Cars had been broken into and glass was in the parking lot. Front desk was often not staffed and phone was not answered several times.

It was pleasant.

Liked: The staff did all they could to accommodate us even though the cleaning staff didn’t show up.
Disliked: They were short staffed so rooms weren’t available at check in. We have to wait over an hour for it to be cleaned. There were no items for purchase at the front desk because they said their truck didn’t come in. There was also no breakfast.
