Disliked: Not well maintained, staff wasn’t very professional, rooms smell, we had a mouse in our room, restaurant food was not great for the price.

Great location with a cabin...

Liked: The location was great. This hotel is old but quaint. It was like staying in a cabin. Staff was excellent. Liked that there was a Keurig in the room.
Disliked: Bed was way too soft and shower is very small. The restaurant wasn’t open two of the nights we were there which was inconvenient based on the location. No microwave in room and going to the office is inconvenient. Deck furniture needs to be cleaned and spider webs knocked down.

Liked: I loved that it was close to Yosemite and it was peaceful
Disliked: A room was a little small and it was hard to open a balcony

Disliked: The rooms and balcony is looking tired, needs updating. When I asked about the pool, staff it's open but pump not turned on, not sure that's safe.They need the restaurant to be opened on more days

Liked: Staff was nice, room was clean and pleasant. The grounds were decent.
Disliked: There needs to be a breakfast option on site.Ran out of coffee??? Get in the car and go to Oakhurst and buy us more. I was really put off by this. Morning coffee is a priority for me. Also, the option we had for coffee on the day it was available was borderline terrible. This alone would make me not recommend this place.

Very good

Liked: The exterior is very charming! Very clean. The interior is a bit dated and I would have preferred better quality bedding .otherwise the gentleman at the front office was very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay! Conveniently located to the Sugar Pine Railroad. The restaurant is just okay, if you just want some food before you head in for the night. I would definitely stay here again!
