Great location and a decent...

Liked: The property was cute and the location was great
Disliked: The room they gave us was more dated than the pictures show. Pillows were hard. There was a local raccoon that raided the trashcan outside our window the first night. I asked the office staff to empty the trashcan and clean up the Cheetos the raccoon left. They did not empty the trash or clean up all the Cheetos and the raccoon came back the second night as well. Needless to say sleeping was a challenge.

Not worth the money or...

Liked: The location was very pretty. The staff did there best dealing with complaints they could not fix.
Disliked: Where do I begin? I was given a room that was still filled with bug spray. I was told it was wet paint! That was a lie, I have a photo of the housekeeping cart with the bug spray!They change my room to one with less of a smell, but had to keep my windows open all night in the heat. My bronchitis was set off and I coughed, wheezed and had a headache the entire time. If you are not so stable be careful, you must take your luggage down wooden stairs to your room. Ask for a room you can drive up to. Six rooms were booked by friends attending a wedding. 3 had broken televisions and 2 smelled of the bug spray. The continental breakfast advertised on the website did not exist. If you did not bring food then you had to drive 5-10 minutes to find breakfast. The pool was closed, emptied and being worked on. This should have been done before high season.There was no house cleaning. You must go to the office for towels and sheets, if it is open when you needed them. Both drink machines were broken. Be careful, this owner had bought 5 other motels in the area. Upkeep is not where the money is being spent. No compensation was offered for all the issues.

Quick but delightful stay, can’t...

Liked: I booked the stay for a quick trip to be close to a running location that had an early start. The property was lovely and I wish I had gotten to stay longer. The after hours key pickup was perfect since I didn’t make it in time to actually check in with the office. The location was so quiet. The room was great and the bed comfortable. Hoping to stay here again soon!

Disliked: No TV , Put us in a Room down a bunch of Stairs and we are both Disabled told the Guy but He did not care we stayed Two Nights because there is a no refund policy . Resturaunt was only open the first Day but the food was not very good .
