Ideal location for many places...

Liked: Excellent freshly prepared breakfast using quality Welsh produce. Very friendly welcome and lovely staff throughout. Couldn't do enough for you. Location is ideal, grounds nice. Easy to park, even on busy Saturday. Good value. Although the building itself is a little "tired" and in need of a refresh, it is spolessly clean, room was spacious and bed was comfy. Would stay again if in that area.
Disliked: Unusual not to have anything to use in the shower. Bathroom only had a soap bar and a small tube of shampoo - might be worth saying on hotel "blurb" on website so that people know, just as it does with towel/robe situation? Drains problem causing bathroom odour.

Liked: Great location. Excellent dinner. Big room. Staff friendly.
Disliked: Pool area very ‘tired’, holes in pool floor etc. needs completely refurbishing. Hot tub not hot. Paint flaking in bedroom. Toiletries poor. Mattress too soft. Poached egg uncooked.

Disliked: One female menber of staff at the hotel were really rude.

Liked: Friendly staff, enjoyed the small onsite bar and use of pool. Bedrooms comfortable and clean. Lovely breakfast included in stay. Great location.

Wasn’t the worst place I’ve...

Liked: Good location to walks in the Brecon Beacons, had access to a nice restaurant, good breakfast and dinner, and a pool and spa. Staff were kind and friendly.
Disliked: The room was very basic and the bed was not very comfortable. We had a bath tub only and ended up using the shower in the spa. We could hear every time someone near us flushed their toilet as the piping was very loud. The pool and spa needs a lot of updates and cleaning. Chairs very old and one was broken.
