Liked: The hotel is in a central location, walking distance to most of the attractions. It's relatively clean and the staff are nice. It offers all the basics for a few nights stay
Disliked: It's rather small, especially the bathroom. And the steep stairs are a bit of a nightmare

Liked: Excellent position, very near Anne Frank House. Road works outside but not a problem. Beautiful, quaint hotel. Room was pretty cramped, especially bathroom, but clean.

Liked: Location of hotel is really good in the centre of city. Steep stairs to all floors. Room was a single bed. Adequate for stay. Breakfast was simple, well laid out and enough to satisfy. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Breakfast room was very full with not enough spaces when busy.

Loved Amsterdam and walked about...

Liked: Mainly its superb location.
Disliked: The long steep stairs - need to be fit to stay there. A real qwerky place to stay with very small beds and no air con. Temps up to 36 degrees whilst we were there.

Disliked: The room was very warm, needs an air conditioner in summer

Disliked: The stairs - hauling luggage up and down is challenging and for some people it might even be just a bit dangerous. Don’t slip.
