Close to CBD but...

Liked: Good location, cleaning staff was kind, washing machine and dryer available.
Disliked: The building is a bit worn down. Hostel has no reception, so there's no control over the place. Front door (with code) was always open, even at night, and street fence too. 2 times we had people talking loudly at 2 am and even a drunk argument/fight in the hall, vaping inside its a regular as well. There was no heating whatsoever, so in combination with all the doors left open, it was freezing cold, even in the rooms, with the bed linen being barely enough. Social area was messy with a lots of leftover stuff piled up so the only inside table had 2 or 3 spots for eating. The other tables were outside and again, cold. Wouldn't come back, price is in line with other nicer hostels.

Disliked: I stayed here from 5 to 7 July 2025, and I have never seen such a filthy place.From the moment I arrived, I was shocked by the state of the room:Strong smell of urine in the toilet and mouldy odour in the bedroomVisible mould on the ceiling fan, air vents, and window corners (can be dangerous for your health)Worn-out, uncomfortable beddingFreezer completely full of iceOld rice in corners and on shelves, showing serious lack of cleaningDust everywhere, sticky doors, chewing gum stuck to furniturePapers, lighters, and empty bottles on the floorUnderwear left in common areas for several days, with no cleaning or response from staffEmpty beer bottles in the bathroom and outsideThey should stop receiving customer.

Liked: Location is great, people staying there are friendly. The lodge is was a bit old but it's a reasonable price and it would have been great if there a heaters since its too cold.

Disliked: The room was dirty the bed was dirty and crowded with different things thrown around the room. It was really disappointing as I have arrived I wanted to book a hotel but I didn't have data to use for map

A cheap social haven for...

Liked: Great location, easy access to public transport, kind staff and genuine guests. Close to clubs, restaurants, pubs and some trending fast food joints.
Disliked: No negative comments x

New favorite hostel

Liked: Really nice showers the people where amazing and it felt like a family

Liked: The location and price. The bathroom is clean
Disliked: There are 3 sofas in the lounge area but someone sleeps every morning and couldn't use all of sofas.WiFi was really patchy, couldn't use in my room
