My Place Hotel-Carson City NV

It was my first time...

Liked: It was at a great location
Disliked: I’ve been trying to get ahold of the hotel manager for over two weeks now in regards to an extra fee that was charged to my account for having a pet stay overnight. There was no pets staying with me. I do not own a pet. The cleaning lady on the second floor was very rude and questioning so much just because I asked her for a clean towel since front desk didn’t have any. I on the phone with a front desk lady just a few minutes ago. She was so rude and disrespectful. It was my first time staying at this hotel and I can’t believe that not only one person, but two made it so unpleasant. I am not staying here ever again. I do not recommend it.

Disliked: Staff is not good. Room provided without a working toilet flush. Manager not reachable. No maintenance people available to fix complaints. Unprofessional attitude. Does not seem to care about customer needs.

Waste of money. New management...

Liked: Front desk staff Courtney and Marissia. That’s all!
Disliked: I’ve stayed at this location 6-8 times since 2022 and always had tv, and helpful staff. This trip was my longest, 15 days, and the worst ever with the new management. This was the worst - the new management did not take any responsibility for things going on. We were without tv for 9-10 of the 15 days we stayed. New management blamed the former manager Dustin (who has always been kind and helpful) rather than taking responsibility, totally unprofessional. Upon checking out today, I asked for compensation for my last night since we did not have tv for 9-10 days - he said he’d see what he could and took about 10 minutes to print my receipt and charged me for my last night. When I asked again if he was going to give me a credit towards that last night, he said he’d have to look into it. He had me standing there for 10 minutes for nothing. One evening, a guy spraying Roundup bug spray around the parking lot, didn’t stop while my husband was getting out of the car, and he sprayed and the wind drove it into my husband’s face - his eyes and mouth!! Nobody offered any apology or anything. As for the room, we did not have a dish cloth upon check in, the dish soap was almost empty, there was a razor cover in the bathtub, and the new management only allows two each of towels - bath, hand and washcloth. If you shower every day, housecleaning is only every 4 days and she does not speak one word of English. If you need a clean washcloth, you have to walk it down to the front desk and trade one for one.

Enjoyable place to stay for...

Liked: We really liked Courtney at the front desk, she was extremely friendly and helpful. Also appreciated Marisa for her hard work. We appreciated the laundry facility on site. The house keeping staff was great.
Disliked: The kitchen space is a bit small, especially the sink.
