Liked: Staff were helpful and friendly. Good central location. Decor of communal rooms very nice
Disliked: Next door to a very busy beer garden which closed very late, poor sound insulation. When I did finally get to sleep was woken by fight outside at 4am, which isn't fault of hotel but wouldn't have been a problem with better sound proof windows. The decor was a little tatty in room. Very open plan, the toilet and shower had glass doors with no door to separate bathroom, not ideal when sharing with my daughter

Perfect location

Liked: The location is perfect. Close to The Laines and a short walk to the seafront.Rooms are clean and comfortable. Check out is at midday and breakfast/brunch is served into the afternoon.
Disliked: The bar doesn't seem to be open much. We returned to the hotel at 10 ish hoping for a nightcap but it was already shut and this was a Saturday evening.

Good value and clean.

Liked: The hotel was friendly and the rooms were nicely designed, not your normal chain hotel style. The price was reasonable for the location. The room was clean.
Disliked: Building work was being carried out on the building meaning due to the extremely loud drilling and hammering etc noise, the room was virtually unusable during the day. We were not informed this would be going on when we booked the room. If we had known we would not have booked as I have to sleep regularly throughout the day due to illness.
