Hotel Description
The Muthu Oban Hotel is prominently located at the head of Oban's north pier and is close to the main shops. It is also ideal for those who wish to take a steamer cruise or ferry to one of the many islands. The Regent externally is a combination of a Victorian private hotel with an almost perfect example of 1930's Art Deco design. Internally both buildings merge to provide an open and airy ambiance with an array of well positioned public foyers and lounges. As a town center hotel the Regent cannot offer private parking although there is ample on-street parking on the adjacent pier. This 'disadvantage' does however mean that Oban's many shops the distillery the ferry terminals and stations are all within easy walking distance.

Disliked: There are lots of steroids everywhere in the building.The room was too hot and couldn’t open windows.Items in breakfast buffet were either finished or dried up in hot containers.

Liked: The bed was comfy
Disliked: Room was tiny, the quality of the finish in the room was really poor, the breakfast was disgustingly greasy and cheap. The parking area is not suitable and not signposted as parking.

Welcoming, great location and friendly...

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lovely lady - Precious - was great and brought us crispy bacon and gluten free bread (she remembered from day before). Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Lobby was a fantastic welcome to the hotel, very nice

Liked: It was an exceptionall stay in the hotel the staff were very pleasant and done an amazing job to welcome us in there hotel , we will certainly be back 100% thanks again Jim & Yvonne Guthrie Room 21 .
Disliked: Didn't dislike anything that why this hotel gets a 10
