GOOD LOCATION
Liked: SECOND ROOM HAD A NICE VIEW OF OBAN BAY BUT FIRST ROOM LOOKED INTO THE CREMATORIUM I WAS TOLD
Disliked: FIRST ROOM HAD NO HOT WATER N THE SHOWER , VIEW INTO CREMATORIUM

Disliked: no elevator - if you have a lot of luggage it is a bit of an effort

Good facilities and helpful staff...
Liked: evening meals were good value apart from the puddings and sweets
Disliked: Cold water in the shower ! They tried to charge an extra £60 for parking after advising it was ok to park .

Very enjoyable stay mostly due...
Liked: We were moved to the Alexandra Hotel as this one had been closed due to needing repairs.The hotel we were moved to was nice, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really nice, good selection of items that would appeal to everyone.
Disliked: It was a little further away from the harbour than our original hotel, but it was still within walking distance.There was some noise from people in a room above ours, the first night it went on quite late and kept me awake, thankfully it calmed down for the proceeding nights.

An excellent place to stay,...
Liked: Didn’t stay at this hotel but at the sister hotel the Alexandra, absolutely lovely place, really exceptional food and staff, lovely rooms and service.

Disliked: The hotel was closed for renovations and I feel this should have been recorded on the booking.com website.The hotel we ended up with was ok but I had a disabled family member with me and we had to leave the sleeping venue to walk to our supper in another hotel. It was all a lot further away than we had planned for. The staff in the replacement hotel were helpful but there had been a mix up over the date and I had to produce my emails as proof of booking date. It was not the relaxing stop over we had planned.
