Great place but more bathrooms...
Liked: VERY good atmosphere. Great services and amenities. First hostel I go to and I love it!
Disliked: Shared bathroom are doubtful, always wet because people are dirty. So I don't like this part at all. That's the only black spot of this place for me. I'm not sure you can do much but open more bathrooms...

Good
Liked: It is a great location, you can easily go the golden gate bridge.
Disliked: Don't rent a car In San Francisco, ever place you must have to pay to park and it is very expensive.

Superb
Liked: Value for money, specifically with basic amenities (bed, locker, mini-lounge space) and location.First and foremost though: SUCH A COOL PLACE! Breathes music through and through, everywhere. Free concert access is a really awesome perk.
Disliked: No kitchen or even proper i.e. lounge (let alone working) area/. Fully dependent on opening hours of adjacent reception/podium/bar area.

Unique Colourful Hostel , comfortable...
Liked: Unique Hostel with a pub/band area downstairs, some free coffee and fruit. Very comfortable and private capsules for sleeping in with there own curtain, light and fan. The staff are curtest but also very firm about how the place works. There are a lot of solo travellers and they tend to keep to themselves. Despite having a band area downstairs, unlike a lot of similar places I've stayed in , it was deadly quite in the room. As well the cubicles tend to muffle noise (they are not a complete protection from snorers but they help). The hostel prides itself on being a rock/roll establishment and there are numerous excellent pictures around the place about different alternative bands which give it real great character.
Disliked: As with another place I stayed in recently, there are a lot of homeless people about in big groups at night, very big groups. You need to be mindful navigating from the train station to the hostel in the evening. I had people trying to sell me stuff, shouting at me and wandering around in large groups, especially Hyde street. During the day it was quite.

Liked: Didn't partake
Disliked: All was great, I encountered a very wet bathroom, but that was someone who is inconsiderate of others
