Good

Liked: It’s pretty clean, though the bathrooms are shared. The bedroom was big enough for the two of us, and it had a sink inside.
Disliked: It’s not worth paying for the breakfast there, as they only give you an apple, a coffee, and pre-cooked oats to heat in the microwave. The mattress comfort was very poor, but the place felt well located.

Happy I picked it!

Liked: I was traveling alone for a conference, and I had a hard time finding a safe and affordable place in San Francisco. I'm very happy I ended up choosing the Music City Hotel. I had doubts about the shared bathrooms, but there are several, and the staff takes extreme care of the cleanliness of the place. There's a very nice coffee place nearby, and a Trader Joe's as well. Very easy to get there with public transportation. The capsules are more comfortable than I expected.
Disliked: I prefer thicker mattresses, but overall, I slept very well. The hotel street is fine, but I'd be careful in the surroundings; as a solo woman, I felt it was better to walk along the main roads.

It was fun! Everyone was...

Liked: The bed was amazing! Enclosed and comfortable!
Disliked: The only thing I had a hard time with was the doors all had a step up before you walked in. I didn’t stub my toes, so that was good!

Owners need to wake up...

Liked: Very friendly staff, great atmosphere and activities.
Disliked: I'm forced to rate this hostel badly this time because owners don't do anything. Bathrooms can't get any worse. I am sad they don't do anything because I already reported that and this 1 month ago when I was there and it is the only bad thing of this hostel. This time we had 1 bathroom for 12 people so I had to wait an hour to take my shower. The second one for our corridor was under maintenance for the full week. Light in the second one is broken probably for months. Also, the toilets lid is moving, the shower leaks and the handle is broken. PLEASE DO SOMETHING WAKE UP.
