Overall ok.

Over all it was a...
Liked: The location was great. Staff were friendly. The mattress was comfortable, there were 2 comfortable pillows (most hostels only provide 1 pillow per bed), a warm comforter, a blanket, shades to pull down to make one’s space (capsule) private and warm. There were lockers in the room. There were and a table and a small desk at which to eat or work. The hotel/hostel is decorated with music memorabilia. The small common room had complimentary coffee and tea and usually apples. Housekeeping staff did a great job keeping the rooms and common areas clean. Additionally, guests could sit in the big bar/restaurant/audience section of the lobby. At night guests could listen to live bands for free, as the establishment is also a performance and rehearsal venue. I would definitely stay at this hotel/hostel again.
Disliked: The website advertises that there is a kitchenette with the following: stovetop burner, fridge/freezer, sink, and cooking utensils, but there were no stovetop burner, sink, and cooking utensils. Water from the bathroom sink was at best lukewarm. The shower knob was loose and therefore the control of the shower water temperature and pressure was quite difficult. Most of the windows lacked screens, which allowed mosquitoes inside. The were no towel bars to hang wet towels.
