Rooms were clean and had everything you’d expect. The air con is so noisy it kept us up most of the night.
Liked: The building has been restored and original features were maintained.
Disliked: Rooms quite small and get really warm. There is air con but it is very noisy and kept us up most of the night. There was only one towel so had to share a towel after a shower.

Expected better for the money.
Liked: The room itself was greatHelpful staff on the end of the phone.
Disliked: The fact I paid £190 for 1 night, I would of expected to see Tea and Coffee that you'd find in a travel lodge and other hotels. I had to go Sainsbury's to get my own supplies. Lucky it had a kettle! No bin in kitchen. Had to leave rubbish on work top.Lots of thick dust in places.

Fabulous location
Liked: Location was superb. The room was very good.
Disliked: We chose it because it was dog-friendly so we didn't anticipate being given the room that was reached via a spiral staircase. Also, you really need to leave more than one toilet roll for a four day stay!

Very livable! Hidden gem.
Liked: Helpful staff (I had trouble checking in, staff were prompt and helpful over the phone). Lovely bedroom, comfy bed, considerate furnishings, great TV. HUGE kitchen! Everything brand new and spotless. Great central location.
Disliked: 'Air con' was just a fan. When I first arrived, the room was like a sauna. During a heatwave, it would have been considerate to have put the fan on, left the window open and blind closed, impending my check-in time.

Could be better but thanks
Liked: Location is good, room was good and clean
Disliked: to get to the room you have to climb a lot of stairs, some are spiral (metal) which are very difficult to get up and down and a bit dangerous. I tried a Latte from the machine provided in the lobby, but the taste and appearance were terrible (the taste was like very weak tea with a drop of milk)

A different take on hotel...
Liked: Once I'd found the entrance, hidden down an alleyway, and dug out the detailed email I'd received explaining how to open the door, I was greeted by a slightly strange reception-less, staff-less building containing bedrooms. That said, once I found my way into my bedroom (via another pin number from the detailed email!), I found myself in a very nice, clean room with a high quality shower room and electronically operated opening skylight with blinds. The room and bed were excellent, and the location is perfectly central for all the local amenities. This meant that the lack of breakfast or evening meal option at the hotel did not matter one bit.In summary the initial impression was a little unusual, but would I stay here again, most definitely!!
Disliked: Better signposting from the street to the entrance would have helped, especially if arriving late, in the dark, on a rainy night. But once inside, the room and bathroom were great.

Good
Liked: I have limited mobility so the stairs to enter/leave the property were a bit tricky, also the entrance isn’t very well lit, so it was tricky to see the keypad without using the torch on my phone.
Disliked: Doorway lighting
