Love this place

Liked: We love staying here, location is great staff usually very friendly and helpful, rooms are really spacious and clean
Disliked: We got offered the Sunday Special, which was fabulous so we went a day early. Quoted $120. Was told details would be emailed for special they weren't, rang day before to check told all good. On check out we were told we owed money after having paid on arrival. The male receptionist wasnt I felt very friendly when I was trying to find out extra charges.

Liked: Staff were friendly and right across the Rd from te papa museum and close to local eateries
Disliked: The shower door didn’t have a seal at the bottom that when I opened the shower door the floor was flooded. Other than that we had a very pleasant stay! Room 204

Liked: Good location and pool area
Disliked: Staff seemed rushed at times and we were asked to park our own car even though we’d paid for the valet service. Also didn’t have our car ready for an early checkout even though this was requested the night before and left us with little time to make our ferry crossing

Disappointing

Liked: Comfy bed, nice to have a bath; Staff at reception very pleasant!
Disliked: Hmm.. did not expect broken/dirty tiles in bathroom...unacceptable... Also coffee maker was advertised but not in room, had to ask for one on last day - was a reason I booked/expected this level of facility at this hotel. Art Hotel side is very run down now...needs a refurb..
