Really disappointing stay - we...

Liked: The breakfast and service at the upstairs restaurant was good, and the art work around the accommodation is incredible - really beautiful and interesting. The woman who checked us out was lovely - very different to the one who checked us in!
Disliked: The woman who checked us in was incredibly rude, which really set the scene for our stay, which was so disappointing. The room itself was terrible - there was someone's long black hair all over the disabled seat in the shower, the shower curtain was brown and stained and looked like it had never been washed, there was mould all over the tile grouting of the walls in the shower. The room was so dark with not one proper light in the entire room - they only rely on lamps for light. You couldn't see one entire side of the bed or anything in the wardrobe so I had to use my phone torch the whole time! Same as the lighting in the pool and spa area - there is no lighting so you can't swim past 6pm with it getting dark. The pool water and spa water smelt terrible - like there was something wrong with it and it needed a good clean. I read in other reviews that it has been closed for the past few days - clearly there is an issue with the chemicals and it shouldn't be operating. Overall, our experience was really terrible and we would never stay again or recommend it to others.

Great location! Sadly the rooms...

Liked: Location was great.
Disliked: Dated rooms, the beds were very bouncy, the air conditioning unit was extremely loud, the breakfast was unacceptable, the man taking our car keys was rude and the man who checked us in was very unpleasant and was frustrated we had asked to check in... I would not stay here again.

A comfortable and relaxing overnight...

Liked: The location is excellent, with all of the main attractions being in close proximity. The huge plunging bath tub was also a main draw card and made good use of the facilities in the hotel (spa snd swimming pool). The bed was comfy and the room very spacious.
Disliked: The decor is starting to look a bit tired.

Liked: It was very different to the hotels we would usually stay at. We have wanted to stay here for a while now but whenever we have looked they have been fully booked. I can see why.
Disliked: Could have had a better selection for breakfast but the food we did have was delicious.

Liked: Good location and nice breakfast
Disliked: Room was not very high standard worn and grubby bed uncumfy would not return not good value for money although the staff were very nice and helpful.
