We will definitely stay here...

Liked: The staff are super friendly. Location is great. This is the 2nd time staying at this hotel. It’s perfect for what we need. We go hiking at the big tree park and then stay here so we don’t have to drive right back to Sacramento. We walk to the historic downtown Murphy’s from the hotel. Bed was over comfy, shower has great water pressure, and room very clean. We will most likely stay here every time we make the trip to Arnold/Murphys
Disliked: Air conditioning is a little stale but would sway me from staying there again.

Liked: Staff were great. This is high season in that part of California so finding a room close to Yosemite for under $200 was a plus. It has the feeling of a motel from my childhood. Not because it felt old but because it felt safe, clean and friendly.

Perfect place to stay to...

Liked: This was a quick over night. Our family actually camps next to the river near by, but for this trip we had family members that were NOT "campers" but still wanted to attend the event we had at the camp site. It was a perfect opportunity to do what I have always want to do, go shopping in Downtown Murphy's. The hotel was clean and the rooms nice. Staff was friendly and welcoming. It fit our needs perfectly. Hotel is within walking distance of Downtown (5 minutes tops) Cute little dinner just across the parking lot had a great breakfast.
Disliked: The rooms just off the lobby open and filled with storage (towels, linen, cleaning supplies) was a bit off putting. And they were open the whole time we were there.
