Liked: I needed a quiet place at short notice and this place fitted the bill nicely. The room was large and comfortable and the grounds were interesting. It's a very quiet location for those wanting some peace and quiet.

Disliked: Disappointing. Hotel grounds unkept and untidy, kids toys all over theplace, furniture in disarray. Large areas of hotel unused and lacking atmosphere. Hotel room clean but not cosy as depicted. Restaurant food average. Revisited for a cosy weekend away but ...

Needs upgrading

Liked: Great for hiking and backpacking. Our food was fine. Maintenance guy did everything from serving food trying to fix septic smell etc.
Disliked: We stayed for the weekend. Terrible septic smell near our chalet no 6. Bathroom door not easy to open or close. No toilet brush. No electric socket near mirrors. No mugs just tiny cups. Bar staff were fine but not overly friendly probably due to being under staffed. Some staff said there was no entertainment on the Sunday some said otherwise. Lack of communication.

I would never go back...

Liked: The person who filled in the paperwork, an old man was rude, when l said my husband has a lung condition and could walk very far, l was told very bluntly that’s my problem, l should have checked that out before l came, not well let see what we can do about that
Disliked: The jug didn’t fit under the taps, spider web by the fridge, toilet pan cracked up the centre, no information on who to see
