Liked: Not alot really. Shops close by I guess
Disliked: Room was average. Stains on bed cover. Towels were gross heaps of stains

Full of ants , don't...

Liked: The cleaning staff were very lovely
Disliked: The ants everywhere all our food was ruined , the black mould everywhere in the shower including the shower curtain , the floor hadn't been vacuumed , the wifi is the worst! It dosent work constantly cutting in and out , such an inconvenience. Room 14 smoke alarm was going off for hours , untill another guest went to investigate, not hotel staff. The pool was filthy. Will never return to this disgusting hotel

Superb

Very good

Liked: The motel is a little out dated, but overall it is clean and has everything you need.
Disliked: The parking was a little tight at times, and getting out of parks was a little tricky. But I guess that is the case all over Auckland.

Disappointing

Liked: We enjoyed our stay, the room was comfortable and warm, and loved the opportunity to have a swim in the pool.
Disliked: On arrival we noticed there was no shower curtain but as checked in quite late had to wait to the next day to get one. On the Friday of our stay, we slept in (Public Holiday) and were still getting up when the staff came around to service the room. We asked them to give us an hour but they did not return leaving us without clean towels that night. The next morning - Saturday, we had to ask at reception but as no one was there, sent a text message to the manager who responded within half an hour before we could collect some new towels. The room was also not serviced on Saturday so we did not have fresh towels when we returned that night or for a shower the next morning before we checked out to return home 8 hours away. On top of this we had to park up the road a couple of times due to there being no parking space on site. Is sky movies supposed to be available on the TVs in the rooms? Also had a plunger but no sachets of coffee for it. Just little things but they make a big difference.

Okay, not great

Liked: Good location
Disliked: In desperate need of an update. Rooms were okay but not overall clean. The showers had zero water pressure, when we asked about it at reception, was told that the owner generally turns off the pumps. Beds were fine, comfortable enough for a night or two. But really needs a good clean up/refresh.

Convenient

Liked: The convenience of the motel, close to places we needed to go. Family, restaurants, bit shopping.
Disliked: Having to hear people going to the toilet up stairs, really loud.

Passable

Not worth the money to...

Liked: The location is the only reason that we stayed there. The Cafe on site which is not related to the motel was excellent. The owner and staff of the cafe were friendly and provided great service and food.
Disliked: First the mattress was old and worn out and required a pillow on one side of the bed just to fill the hole of the collapsed mattress to make it level. The bathroom requires complete renovation. the shower floor creaks and groans and feels unsafe. The kitchen window could not be opened or closed. For the amount of money we paid to stay there, it was not up to that standard.
