Liked: Loved the location as it was so close to everything
Disliked: The hotel was undergoing renovations and therefore this impacted on the external image of the hotel with scaffolding etc.The hotel did not offer breakfast. There was only a double bed available even though I requested a twin room or a double and single. This was not available. Therefore one of my daughters could not stay and had to return to Leiden late that eve which was a shame. No other room was available in the hotel.

Great place location-wise for settling...

Liked: The location is right on the canal so you get a front row seat to life in Amsterdam. The location is ideal for museums, restaurants and night life, and there is a great coffee shop a block away. The room was clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. Loved the free coffee station in the lobby area!
Disliked: On the flip side, the hotel is right on the canal in a city that never sleeps. The activity on the canal is entertaining, but not so much at 3am. Being ear plugs.
