Exceptional

Fell way short - disappointing

Liked: Location and price are the only reasons I would stay here again.
Disliked: * The check-in information I heard others get (as I was sitting in the lobby before leaving) was WAY more detailed than the one I got.* The first night it was quiet when I came back to the hotel.On the second night (a Thursday), there was a CRAZY crowd there to get up to the nightclub on the roof (after midnight), which made getting up to my room nuts -- the elevator was PACKED (also made me not want to go down to get a beverage I wanted after I was in my room)... AND the music at the club was heard from my room into the wee hours.* There was not a secure bag (bell) check -- all sorts of bags and boxes out in the lobby where anyone could access them, so I went back to the Westin to properly check my bags the day I checked out.

Liked: Great location, close to the venue of my conference.
Disliked: There was an intermitent pipe noise in my room.

Overall, it's a great little...

Liked: The hotel is very modern, with a really cool design and a fun atmosphere. When I arrived, the person I first met with was very nice and let me know the only room available at that time would be directly under the rooftop bar which can be quite noisy. She said I could leave my bags and come back later in the day for a room on a lower floor, which I did!
Disliked: When I came back later in the day to check in, I was met with a not so nice person. She was accusatory and spoke to me like I should have known exactly what information she needed. Also, all email confirmation and app notices said it was a touchless check in process and keyless access to my room, using my phone's Bluetooth. Neither of those were true, and when I asked the woman behind the desk, she responded as if I were an idiot. And, they charge your credit card $75 for room "incidentals". Just so everyone is aware, the "incidentals' in my room were two 8 oz. bottles of water. Hardly worth putting a $75 charge on my card. Finally, the email confirmation and web descriptions lead you to believe the staff will be jumping with enthusiasm to give you a free cocktail upon your arrival. Not true. Instead you are handed a wooden token, again, nothing touchless about this, that you can go stand in line to get your beverage.
