Show and a mini break
Liked: Very clean, well equipped, great seating, good ambience, friendly & attentive staff, great breakfast selection
Disliked: The outside is being developed but it doesn’t distract from out the hotel. We had a meal on arrival, which was really disappointing. The chicken was dry and the chips were soggy and tasteless. The burger wasn’t that great either and I thought it was overpriced for the quality and quantity. The breakfast was very good though.

A beautiful place but no...
Liked: MOXY is an upbeat, funky donk type hotel, the fresh smell of the air freshener greets you as you enter and you are hooked. It is a great smell to be honest and that is from someone who has a strong nose. I asked the gentleman and he said you can buy it online from their website, the check in is easy, the reception and bar are side by side and it is more of a feel of young people, noisy, pool table, other table games etc but it adds to the character the hotel wants to portray. Once checked in you take the lifts and it turns quiet, long corridors, eerie silence and then the room, beautifully set up, the TV has a personalised message with your name welcoming you to the place, i think a very nice touch and the beds are comfortable. The rooms is not big but set up in a way that is very ergonomical. THe bathroom is clean and tidy and plenty of towels for 2 guests. All in all a great place to stay. The location is excellent, 2 minutes walk and you are at the Marina with beautiful views or you can drool at the bit luxury Yachts of the rich and the mighty.
Disliked: Parking is the biggest let down of the place. as admitted by the gentleman at the reception "we have 44 parking spaces and 200 rooms" you do the maths? The Blue badge spaces are only 3 and the nearest parking is about 5 minutes walk which is pay and display. I wasted 15 minutes looking for parking, had to go to the reception and then back to the car and despite a blue badge had to drop off my son and then take the car to the parking lot. Breakfast is expensive considering whats on the menu so politely declined

Very good
Liked: Breakfast was good and the hotel is nicely decorated and had a good atmosphere. We paid to park outside the hotel. We didn't know we could have parked in a different carpark for a lower price with a code, but it wasn't a massive issue. Good location between the town centre and the hoe. Easy to walk to the Barbican area as well.
Disliked: The window in the room didn't shut fully so we had a bit of noise during the night.
