Liked: This is the 2nd time I've stayed here, and I live in Oakland. Cool headquarters if you wanna hang out Downtown. Killer bars venues all within walking distance. Cool part of town. Fox Theater couple blocks away. AND ...there's an awesome bar with awesome bartenders in the lounge. Don't forget to tip

Liked: Location..Comfortable..
Disliked: I paid for a Bay View room just to learn there are NO BAY VIEWS!!! Parking is expensive! My room faced Telegraph Ave and the lights from the parking lot across the street shined directly into my window, so I couldn’t enjoy the city lights at night.

Liked: Very nice and clean inside
Disliked: No valet for parking and have to park across the street where it’s gated.

Good location, very very clean...

Liked: Clean, fresh, new. Staff very helpful and friendly. Bathroom was beautiful. We were given a coupon for a complimentary drink at the bar when we checked in, which was very nice.
Disliked: Our reservation was for a King Room with a "Bay View". Our only view was a parking lot across the street, and some tall buildings. I don't know if any room in the hotel would have a view of the bay... anyway, that was misleading and disappointing.Also, we wanted to try to connect to our streaming services after a long day of travel, and our TV wouldn't connect to the internet. We contacted the front desk, who said the "engineer" was gone for the evening (it was later in the evening, like 9 or 10); the only thing they could do was switch our room. Well, it was too late for that as we were already settled in and tired. So, that was disappointing, too, that something advertised online and in the room wasn't available - which should have been an easy fix. (The hotel's internet was working fine, we were told.)Decor in the room (an unframed poster clipped to the wall) just feels cheap.

Liked: Love the decor. It’s a total vibe. Simplicity unique.
Disliked: One ply toilet paper. No seated smoking area.

Liked: Nice Hotel, the staff is super friendly and helpful with any requests.Beds are comfortable!
Disliked: I was surprised that there is no laundry service or option to do your laundry. I was sent to a laundromat, which is not only timewise difficult to arrange when travelling for work but I also ended up in some sketchy areas to find the Laundromat. The area of the Hotel itself is not super convenient and doesn't feel completely safe.
